- What's the difference between a "video" and a "recording"? Video Hubs
- A video file can only be added by the VMS administrator. A "recording" is captured live by an end user through the Video Hub (formerly "intelligence portal"). All "recordings" are also videos, but not all videos are treated as "recordings".
- Do all events require the iO Connect Cloud Mixer? Events
- No. The Cloud Mixer is one way to create an event stream or pre-record. But content can also be generated by other platforms like AWS Elemental Link or Zoom, and streamed through our platform. It is really your preference, based on the desired look/feel and attendee mix of the event. In any case, the output of that stream can be funneled through the iO Connect platform, to be captured/archived/clipped/transcribed/translated/distributed just as if it were captured in our Cloud Mixer directly.
